• Bhakti Investama (BHIT) booked Rp152.6bn of net profit in 1Q10 or a sharp turnaround compared to Rp123.9bn net loss in 1Q09. Revenue is also up by 17.1% YoY to reach Rp1.50tn vs. Rp1.28tn in 1Q09.
• The company’s strong bottom line was mainly fuelled by stronger operating margin which was up by 13.9ppt to 28.2% and also helped by a forex gain of Rp114.4bn compared to a forex loss of Rp147.2bn in 1Q10.
