Mandiri Sekuritas Economy may expand 5.73% yoy in 1Q10 on investment and external demand recovery

The statistical agency is scheduled to announce Indonesia 1Q10 GDP report today. We expect the economy to have grown by 5.37% yoy or increased 1.97% qoq, slightly below consensus forecast of 5.79% yoy or 2.02% qoq. Faster economic growth (5.4% yoy in 4Q09) will be driven by pickup in investment and external demand, besides continuous robust private consumption.
