Arch Coal fell $.27 or 1.7 percent, to $15.20.
Consol Energy fell $.94 or 3.0 percent, to $30.11.
Massey Energy fell $.25 or 2.0 percent, to $12.23.
Peabody Energy fell $.22 or .8 percent, to $28.66.
